The Definition of Reservoir Intelligence
This project is an example of my creative direction abilities. I led the team of designer and writer, supported by strategists, to create the three different options for this brand expression.
NuTech is an oilfield support company. They gather and interpret data from oil and gas reservoirs for the purpose of advising E&P companies on the action they should take - buy, sell, drill, further develop or shut down. Essentially, billions of dollars were at stake when they made a recommendation.
They came to us in order to garner some new energy for their brand. The company had been around for decades and was starting to be viewed as over the hill. Our team saw an opportunity to position NuTech as the sole provider of real Reservoir Intelligence in the industry - a term we created.
As was normal procedure, our team took the findings from our brand assessment and delivered three options for the new brand look and feel (see below). The ultimate decision was to move forward with the third (at bottom below) concept, as you can see here on their website.
